Description: Poor little Lizzie was left abandoned on a Friday night at the back door of a fast food establishment on a busy street. An ATDR volunteer was notified and plucked her from the streets at midnight. All efforts at finding an owner ensued but were unsuccessful, a fact that is surprising in view of the fact she had pink-painted dewclaws. Fast forward to the present. She is spayed, HW-, healthy, and ready to go be in charge of a new household. Believe me, this little girl is one that will take command in short order, as is often the case with the tinies. She is beyond adorable! She is very active and playful, but her absolute favorite thing to do is snuggle. As is common with dogs her size, she seems to be a bit cold-natured so she is always looking for another warm body with which to cuddle, be it human or canine. She is ready to start collecting a stylish wardrobe of sweaters and dresses, partly to keep warm and partly as a fashion statement. She loves practicing her lapdog skills, and she is very content to be held until something catches her eye. Then, she is off in a flash to investigate. This little dynamo has springs in her feet---she can jump waist-high to a human from a standing start. She is just a wiry, little, athletic bundle of energy, but she definitely has an "off" button and can relax when there is a lull in the daily activities. In other words, she is just pretty much perfection in a cute-as-a-button package. She is great with other dogs. Not tested with kids or cats. On public outings, this is the gregarious pup who never met a stranger.
