Hi, my name is Walker. I got lost during Hurricane Ike and found my way into a big backyard to live under a tool shed. The owners had a friend in Dachshund Rescue and after not being able to find my family for 2 months, they called her and here I am...in a nice warm foster home with lots of brothers and sisters to play with. I am very healthy for my ordeal, thankfully NO Heartworms, and now that I have had all my shots and I am ready to go. I am even housetrained! I have not had one accident since coming to my foster house! I am a very good boy, very snuggly and loves attention. I don't mind being in a crate with a friend while my humans are at work, but at night I prefer to sleep in the bed with EVERYONE! I love to play with my foster brother....I am learning tug-a-rope and "run away with the stolen toy!!!" I love games of chase and tumble with my doggie friends! I would really like a doggie friend in my new home to play with and snuggle up to in a crate while my family is gone to work. If you want a lovable, happy, handsome, smart Doxie....I have been patiently waiting right here for you to find me!!!
