Beautiful Willimena is a black and cream wire haired dachshund girl. She has since been vetted and is feeling much better now. She is a happy and loving girl and will be ready for a new home shortly! Mina was rescued in a family way from a Houston area shelter. She gave birth to 8 puppies the day after arriving at her foster home. Mina was extremely thin and delivered the puppies sooner than she should have. Sadly, none of the pups survived. Mina has since recovered from the loss of her babies and has put on some weight. She is now a happy girl and enjoys playing with the other dogs in her foster home. She loves chasing tennis balls and playing with plush squeaky toys. She enjoys running and would love to have a fenced in yard. Mina is house trained and knows how to use a doggy door. She loves to sleep in the big bed but is also content to sleep in a dog bed. Mina stays gated in the breakfast area with a couple of her housemates when her foster parents are away. Mina is a young dog but she is very well behaved. She is very friendly and loves meeting new people.
