Description:

Chewbacca, or Chewy for short, is a handsome wire haired dachshund and possibly schnauzer mix. He is calm and quiet and enjoys contact with people as well as other dogs. Haven't tried a cat yet, but he seems to be a lover not a fighter. Chewy was found as a stray in the southwest part of the county and appeared to have a few puncture wounds on him from some kind of altercation. He is going great now, has recently been neutered and microchipped. Chewy is a lucky boy and tested negative for heartworms.

Chews loves to play and loves his toys!  He is very active and busy and keeps himeself occupied.  He is good with other dogs but probably wouldn't mind being an only dog with a very active family.  This sweet boy is going to make someone the perfect companion -- could that be you?
