Bambi a/k/a Little Red is the cutest baby girl you’ll ever find! ATDR is wondering how anyone could drive up to a parked pickup truck, pull this baby out of a pet carrier and dump her in the back loaded with cement blocks and speed away in the dark, leaving her there frightened and alone! Thank goodness a nice man witnessed this vile happening and quickly retrieved her, bringing her into his warm, safe home. Following that Bambi was taken to a vet where no microchip was found. When ATDR was contacted, they couldn’t say no to this precious little thing! Since then she’s been found to be sweet as can be and she LOVES being held and snuggled. This tiny girl deserves a person or family who will cherish and protect her, showing her what it’s like to have a truly loving home.

Update on Bambi (10/19/18)

This little darling will steal your heart! She loves EVERYONE – kids, people and other dogs - both big and small!! She is ALL HEART and has the most wonderful personality and demeanor! She would be wonderful in a home with other dogs and kids or she could be just as happy as an only dog so she can get all your loving for herself! To our delight, she is housebroken and also loves the doggie door. The vet thinks she is 9 to 10 months old and she only weighs a whopping 8 pounds! She is a tiny, tiny little thing with the most beautiful coat and gorgeous, expressive eyes. She’s had lots of socializing and been to dog parks and even attended our “Doggie Day at The Pool” and she is always the best girl there!

Bambi is up to date on all her shots, is heartworm negative and has been spayed. She is just waiting for her new forever home now! Please think about giving this little cutie a chance!
