Meet pretty little Cheetah! She earned her name from her great love for Cheetos…in moderation, of course! Our hearts melted when we heard about this baby, and we jumped at the opportunity to help her! She moved up from the Valley to join ATDR and is oh so happy to be settling into a warm, cozy foster home instead of being in a scary shelter.

Cheetah is still learning to trust and is a bit slow to warm up, but being homeless can sometimes do that to a frightened little one. In times of stress, she has been prone to fixate on her favorite toy, but once she felt safe she was willing to trade her toys for treats. Patience, kindness and treats, in moderation, have been proven to work wonders toward winning this precious girl over and eventually earning her friendship. Once she feels comfortable, she enjoys taking walks and smothering her person with sweet kisses!

Cheeta will be a devoted, loving companion for a dachshund lover with no children…she would love to have a forever home for the holidays where she’ll be cherished, protected and cared for and never have to be homeless again.
