Pretty little Violet was found as a stray and taken to an animal shelter. When no one stepped up looking for this precious little one, ATDR was contacted and, of course, we immediately said yes! Thank goodness Violet is in a safe foster home now being well loved, cared for and enjoying the comforts she was denied wandering the streets as a stray. She is an extremely sweet baby girl and very good with people and all the dogs in the house. What a little gem she is! Violet's foster mom says she acts like a puppy, LOVES playing with toys and loves playing with the other pups in the house. 

Sadly, sweet Violet tested positive for heartworms, so she's facing heartworm treatments before she'll be ready for adoption and won't be available for about three months. In the meantime, we know that Violet is dreaming of the day when she'll have a forever home of her own with a person or family who will love, protect and care for her and never allow her to be homeless again.
