Chuckie is a handsome little longhaired fellow who was an owner surrender by a college girl who found him on Craigslist. Being a student, she couldn’t afford to keep up with Chuckie’s veterinary care and decided it would be best for him to go into rescue. ATDR just couldn’t say no to this tiny boy. Chuckie was quickly retrieved by an ATDR volunteer who drove him from Central Texas to Dallas to place him in the perfect foster home. He’s been a bit frightened with the change in his life but with love and kindness, he’s coming around and learning to trust the gentle people who are working to win him over. He’s a very sweet boy who loves all his foster brothers. Chuckie is facing some dental surgery and other veterinary care before he’ll be ready for a permanent home, but when that time comes, he’ll feel so much better after having his health brought up to speed.
