Say hello to Oliver! This handsome boy was surrendered to ATDR by his family because there was another hoo-baby on the way and a move was planned to a place where no puppy dogs could live. Sad as this is for everyone concerned, ATDR is proud to have Oliver among its ranks and we’re determined to find this precious boy the very best loving home out there!

Oliver can sometimes experience a bit of anxiety, like most of us, but he’s very good with people including children. He’s searching for a home with a person or family who has another small doggy friend for him to share life with. He’s not comfortable with bigger dogs. Oliver would do best with someone who either works from home or stays home most of the time. He becomes anxious if crated for long periods of time so won’t do well being crated during the day if his person or family is gone nor can he be crated through the night. Being a good boy, rather than sleeping alone, he prefers sleeping with his human or another pup to snuggle. During the daytime, he prefers being inside unless his person or another doggy accompanies him outside. He’s an absolute sweetheart who LOVES lap time and is very affectionate and loving! He’s extremely smart and completely house trained making him comfortable to live with!
