Niles was surrendered by a family because they no longer made time for him.  He was happy in his suburban life but preferred to have a small circle of friends and not so many strangers in and out of the house.  He barked and warned them of stranger danger, but they only got annoyed.  Niles is a happy guy about three years old and great with other dogs.  He is good with kids as well, as long as they are his kids - not so much with the neighbors kids.  He is active and loves to play with friends or with toys, but a bit headstrong on a leash.  Niles is a bit territorial, but given a few minutes to get used to people he is quick to devote himself to his humans.
