Meet Charlie, sometimes known to closer friends as Bubba! This handsome boy was surrendered by his owner and ATDR jumped at the chance of bringing him into its fold. He’s settled into a comfortable, loving foster home where we’ve learned he’s good with other dogs and people, grownups and responsible kids alike. Charlie has a super sweet personality…he loves cuddling with both his foster mom and dad. He loves playing ball and tug and also playing with the other pups in the house. He will go to the door when he needs to go out and is working on learning to use the doggie door. Charlie doesn’t like having his paws touched; he also doesn’t like cats, squirrels and other small animals so will not be good in a home with any. Charlie needs another doggie buddy to run and play with.

Charlie is very vocal, liking to bark, and preferring his people be home with him he will howl when they leave the house. He will not be good for apartment or condo living and will probably do best with someone who either works from home or is home most of the time.
