Say hello to Chance, named for “Chance the Rapper”! This handsome guy was surrendered by his owner with the hope he could find a wonderful new home with an active doggy playmate to enjoy and spend energy with. He loves to play tug with rope toys and chew on bones, bully sticks and other appropriate things. Chance is accustomed to sleeping in bed with his human(s) and isn't fond of being crated. He used a combination of indoor pee pads and going outside in his previous home. He’s a little overweight and struggles with stairs, so a home with minimal or no stairs would be best unless he’s carried up and down by his person. Plenty of play and walks should help him get back into shape again. Chance is a sweet boy who enjoys cuddling and likes to be with his human(s). He has very short legs and his nose is always to the ground like a scent hound seriously on the trail of something with his tags always clanking along on any hard surface. It’s truly kind of funny...he’s the perfect definition of a “low rider”! He's also a "talker" and can get a bit barky, so a home that has shared walls with neighbors won’t be a good fit.
