Jester is a smart and energetic 1-2 yr old, 12lb red male doxie. His foster mom calls him a "velcro dog"; he wants nothing more than to be by your side and will return your affection ten-fold!
Jester was found injured after chasing cars on TC Jester Street in Houston. His injuries have fully healed; the only reminder of his ordeal: a battle-scar on his right, rear leg. He enjoys being outdoors hunting squirrels and cats, but settles down nicely for quiet evenings at home with the family. He is a well muscled and active boy who is so smart he would be a wonderful candidate for obedience or even agility! Jester is fun loving and great with other dogs! He is good with kids and would be a nice active boy for any school age kiddo! Jester enjoys being outdoors the best but quiets down and enjoys time with his family in the evenings.
Jester is crate-trained and house-trained (Remember all dogs depend on their humans to take them outside to potty). He is fun-loving and great with his 3-year-old foster brother, Flash. Jester would make a wonderful companion for retirees or a great addition for an active family with older children or another Doxie to play with. Please consider giving Jester the loving home he deserves!
