Hi! My name is Bella. My name means 'beautiful' in Italian, which is perfect because I am indeed beautiful. Sometimes I like to play dress up and prance all around the house. I love to snuggle in my foster mommy's lap and cover her with kisses. I like to watch her do things around the house and prance after her. When I go on walks I prefer to wiggle my butt as I walk around. I personally think it adds to my cuteness factor.
 
My foster mommy thinks I can be a bit bossy with my foster brother. I like to be the lead lady around the house. I don't mind kids petting me but I don't care to have my space invaded by too many of them. I tend to become a bit shy and nervous when I feel crowded by to many young children.  Kids over 7 who are quiet and calm I think I like ok.
 
Now lets move onto my addiction with toys. I love them. I like to have a large assortment and I will drag them all out to play with them at the same time. I will chase after any toy thrown for me. Chances are I will bring it back to you. Mommy says I act like a little toddler with my toys strewn around the room. I can't help it. I just love having all of my babies around me.  I also am working on my degree in Rawhide chewing.  I love to chew on a wonderful Nylabone or rawhide stick or cow ear.  They are so yummy.  I hope my new home will have them growing on bushes for me to pluck whenever I want!
 
I have had all my shots and I am now recovering well from my spay and ready to embark on a new life with a family that will love me and keep me close. The streets can be tough on a young little lady like myself.  If you chose me to be part of your family I will promise to love you and give you kisses everyday. If kisses are not your thing then I will cuddle with you and look up at you with my beautiful Dachshund face. Mommy says that I have the most adorable little face framed by adorable little ears. I am sure to melt your heart…...I am a pro at heart melting!! Please give me a chance to love you.
