Meet Leo! This one-year-old little cutie is now enjoying the comforts of a loving ATDR foster home where it’s reported that he is very afraid of new people at first, but he takes only a minute or so to get over it. His foster mom says the best thing to do is ignore him and let him come to you on his own terms. He did show his pearly whites to her at first, but then he was in love with her almost as quickly! He would not be good with younger active children because of this though. Leo does love to sleep very quietly next to his person in the big bed and will let you know when he thinks it’s time to retire. He will come to you and whine and then go to the bedroom more than once if necessary...and what does it hurt to relent and watch TV in there so he can get his beauty rest! More things he loves are toys and tug a war. He DOES NOT like kitty cats but enjoys all the dogs in his foster home and has shown NO aggression at all toward anyone coming into his foster home. In sum, he’s a total love bug once he gets to know you! Another big plus is that he’s house trained…but just to be safe, keep an eye on him for the first hour or so in a new home.
If you’re looking for a great little guy to be your wing man and explore all good things in life with, please submit an adoption application for Leo! He deserves a wonderful forever home and someone he can call his own and promises life with him will never be boring!
