Say hello to Maggy! This beautiful baby girl was picked up by a Good Samaritan near a Texas coastal town. When contacted, ATDR quickly brought her into their fold and placed her in a comfortable foster home. She had evidently been through a lot so was a little slow to trust at first, but with love, kindness and regular tasty meals, she quickly learned her foster mom and dad are okay!
Maggy really likes her groceries, so treats will help win her over; however, at her tiny size, be really careful not to overfeed her! In the beginning she just needed to decompress a bit and feel comfortable trusting someone. She loves to be loved on once she gets to know you, and she really is an awesome little dog! This little mini is also crate trained and house trained and pee pad trained!
Maggy is so deserving of a loving forever home with a special someone to call her own. ATDR feels that due to her tiny size and caution of people, a home without children of any age will be necessary. Life with an older or retired person or couple would be perfect for her. Should there be grandkids who occasionally come over, Maggy will be happy in her crate for a little while!
If you're looking for a small bundle of preciousness to share your lap and all things good in life, please submit an adoption application for Maggy. With a little gentle patience, she'll soon become the best little friend and companion you could ever hope to find.
