Description:
Weenie was surrendered by his owners after a bad relationship ended. Weenie was the kid torn between two parents and in the end they did the best thing by sending him to rescue. Weenie was high heartworm positive and very thin and undernourished. Fast forward a month and he is back to a normal weight, living his best life in a foster home where he is begining the heartworm treatment that he needs to survive. Weenie is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and just starting his heartworm treatment. He will be ready for adoption sometime mid summer 2022. Weenie is an active tweenie sized dachshund who loves having a yard and a place to call his own.
