Hello.  My new name is Maci.  I say "new" because my previous "family" left me at a shelter and didn't bother to tell anyone my name.  Can you imagine?!  Luckily a nice couple who fosters for ATDR rescued me from that scary and noisy place.  I'm slowly coming out of my shell as I adjust to all the changes in my life.  I'm the ultimate lap dog and snuggle bunny.  I love my foster parents and want to be with them all the time.  I think I might do best in a quieter home as an only dog so that my whole focus could be on loving you.  I am soft as silk and a petite 12 pounds, so I'm perfect for hanging out in your lap and being petted. My favorite thing is to lay on my foster daddy's chest with my head tucked under his chin and gaze adoringly into his eyes.  I haven't been around many strangers, so am not sure how brave I am around them yet; but I am very smart and am sure I could learn.  If you are looking for a loyal, loving, snuggler - I'm the girl for you.
