Not everyone gets a second lease on life, but I did, and I intend to make the most of it! To begin with, I was hit by a car late one night, injuring my back end. I was so scared, but still trusting at the same time. When the animal control officer slid a pillow under the car to reach me, I simply climbed on and let him pull me out. For a while, they thought I might not walk again; but by golly, I was determined to be brave and strong, and prove them all wrong. And I did! I still have a funny little gait and a "clicky" right rear leg; but that doesn't slow me down one bit & I get around just fine! (Read her story here)
I love to patrol the backyard in my foster home, go for morning walks, romp around with my dog buddies and then snuggle up to watch TV at night. I am determined to stay active, running and playing so I can keep my muscles strong. So far as the rest goes, I have been described as "INCREDIBLY SWEET", "SO LOVABLE", "ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE", "TOTAL LOVE BUG". And I'm very friendly to everyone I meet! I even like cats! My foster mom says I'm trained to go on a pee pad and I've also learned to use a doggie door and zoom in & out to take care of my business.
I know how lucky I am to have this second chance at life and I am intent on making the very most out of it by loving everyone and everything!
