Description:
In the words of Fritz' original mom…
Fritz is my boy! He can be a handful but he is learning and is a very good dog.
He’s a hunka hunka love who will shower you with puppy kisses!
After Puppy Kindergarten (see proud graduation picture in his blue bandana), he has learned who’s boss but, still sometimes, he will look at me and bark to make his point known…or at least he thinks he is! He is an active, stocky, strong, solid dog and will need a forever home with someone who is patient and energetic enough to keep up with him until he grows out of his puppy stage. A yard and another dog near his size to show him the ropes and play with him to spend energy would be helpful.
Fritz can jump and has jumped over my 2-foot fence, so he will need a taller fence at least 6 feet high. He thinks he can catch the rabbits and squirrels. Ha Ha! He also likes to cuddle and loves to be talked to with love. He will also tackle and play with the 5-year-old family cat and get him down. Ya gotta smile and laugh when they play!
Fritz is getting really good at being potty trained. He goes out every morning and evening before bed (and in between as needed)…he will go out, but you must watch and make sure to take him out before an accident. Fritz plays well with his canine sister, my teenaged grandkids, their Great Dane and even the family cat!
He is a puppy and likes to chew and needs lots of chewies. He will sit, come come, and kennel up, go night night, and walks well on a leash. I think he would love someone younger to take walks, do active things with and go places with. He didn't like riding in a car at first but is getting better at it every day.
If you have plenty of energy and are looking for a precious boy to be your wingman in exploring this exciting thing called life, please submit an adoption application for Fritz! He’s ready and waiting to be the best little friend you will ever hope to find!
