Owen is quite the precocious lil pup. Very outgoing, with puppy enthusiasm for meeting everyone, even a shrieking 23-month-old toddler! He clearly understands the evasive maneuvers needed to stay clear of toddler arms and legs, and appears happy to have a playmate with his energy level. He’s a super snuggler who loves to nap in a lap, very people oriented and friendly. Owen walks well on leash, and his house training is progressing very rapidly. He enjoys playing with other dogs and even tries to get the neighbor's cat to play with him! Since he originated in a multi dog household, he will do best with at least one other dog who will play with him. He is currently sleeping in a large crate, but he would much prefer snuggle sleeping with his people in the big bed. His foster mom reports that he’s very smart and a quick learner. He learned the double flap doggy door in 2 days and even uses the triple flap dog door! Owen enjoys an early morning and late evening mosey around the neighborhood. He’s highly food motivated, LOVES strawberries but does not care for peanut butter.
