Say hello to Lucy! This stunning long-haired beauty was surrendered to ATDR by a breeder when she was sizing down on the number of pups she had. She's now being well cared for, enjoyed and loved in a comfortable foster home.
Lucy’s foster mom reports that she’s a very happy girl, always wagging her gorgeous tail. She gets along well with the people and other pups she shares life with, including much smaller young puppies in the household. She’s great outside and comes in when called. She was a little barky in the beginning which settled down in a few short days when she felt confident she was okay in new surroundings. She has a nice deep male hound bark that would give a would-be thief a second thought about breaking and entering her territory!
Lucy has really adjusted well to home life and loves to run through the house doing "zoomies" to announce her pleasure at just being alive and free! Oh, and by the way, Lucy wants you to know that she LOVES fresh veggies, including cucumbers!
If you’re looking for a great girl to share all the good things with, please submit an adoption application for Lucy. She’s ready and waiting to be your devoted best friend and companion.
