Description:
Bernard, named for our favorite Elf on the Shelf, was found in December as a stray with his running buddy Mugsy. Bernard is a sweet and lovable boy who wants nothing more than to please and be loved by humans. He is good with other dogs and will make someone a fine companion in 2025. Bernard is now neutered and microchipped, but unfortunately he tested positive for heartworms! We started the medication to begin his treatment and he should be ready for adoption sometime in the early spring 2025. A sweeter boy you'll never meet -- Bernard would love a home to call his own, with another dog to keep him company!
