Say hello to Sissy! This stunning tiny girl recently came into rescue with seven other siblings/companions after their beloved mom passed away. None of these eight babies had been as socialized with people as other pups. Consequently, they were all a bit skittish and needed to learn to enjoy human companionship. When surrendered, it was reported that Sissy may have a little favoritism toward men, but she would learn to share life with a male, female or a couple.

Her foster mom reports: Sissy has a beautiful black and white coat and is very tiny. She is extremely timid, but will let foster mom pick her up although you can tell she’s not totally comfortable with it just yet. Sissy likes to bark at things and has a huge prey drive, so apartment living would not be advised. Sissy loves her foster brothers, one in particular she enjoys kissing and snuggling with. She needs a home where the other dog is also very calm and non-aggressive.  She’s learning to enjoy playing with toys.

4.24.25 UPDATE: Sissy’s vetting has been brought up to speed, and she’s ready for a brand new forever home with someone of her very own to love and cherish her. She will need a doggy friend there to share life with! If that might be you, please submit an adoption application for Sissy. She has come a long way in her foster home, gradually learning to enjoy human attention more, but she will still require patience, love and kindness to gain her trust. She's precious beyond words and will be oh so worth it...
