This little girl was picked up as a stray in Fort Worth and was taken into the Shelter where she remained for several weeks until ATDR heard about her….  and who could resist that face.  As a stray, her name and previous family are unknown, but those at the shelter named her Winnie and now she is beginning her new life.  She learned her name very quickly, almost as if she knew this was the first step for her.  She was definitely ready to get out of the shelter and she now acts like she’s on top of the world.  She has melded into her foster home with many other doxies and loves to be around them all and play.  She also follows her foster mom and dad around being so curious of everything.  She obeys simple commands and understands discipline.  Winnie is a beautiful black and tan miniature doxie with a face that shows the love she has to give.  We believe Winnie is about 3-4 years old, but she definitely plays like a puppy.  She is heartworm negative and has had all her shots.  If you are looking for a great natured dog with a spunky personality who's craving a family of her very own, Winnie is the one for you.
