Siegfried was found living in the woods with several other dachshunds where they were obviously dumped by an irresponsible breeder. A kind Samaritan had been feeding them for almost a month and called to ask for help in turning them over to rescue. He is a mini black and tan longhaired male about a year old and by some miracle, was heartworm negative and will be available after his neuter, in mid-October.

Siegfried is starting to show signs of being a sweet and loving little guy. He is up to date on shots, getting used to people and other dogs again and will be neutered and ready to go in about three-four weeks. Please consider adopting Siegfried, he is wonderful and wants nothing more than to be safe and loved!
