Zipper is a 10 lb mini red Dachsund, approximately 2 years old and is such a character. He enjoys chasing bugs in the grass and watching the birds in the air. Zipper has learned very quickly the goodness of affection. He loves belly rubs and rubbing his face on you. Zipper enjoys chew bones, stuffed toys and he loves treats! It is amazing how well he has adapted based on his previous treatment. Zipper is working on his housebreaking skills at this time. Unfortunately Zipper is heartworm positive and being treated at this time - he should be ready for his forever home by early 2008!
