Schneider came to be in the care of his foster family when he was discovered roaming near their daughters bus stop. He is so friendly he ran right into his foster mom’s arms and has been enjoying the life of a house dog, while he awaits his forever home.
Schneider is wonderful with children, men, women, large/small dogs, puppies and has learned to get along with dog friendly cats –though, he can still at times be a bit of a bully. He has day time potty training down but hasn’t passed the test for night time, when he has slept outside his kennel. He was a stray, so given the chance he will take off out of an open door or gate to roam. He loves toys and treats, and is learning basic obedience (though, he is too smart for it and knows he can still get treats by being adorable). Schneider is vocal when left alone or when a visitor comes to call, but it is something that he has shown improvement with through positive training. He is absolutely a cuddle bug but does not need to be in your lap constantly.
He is such a wonderful little guy with a ton of love to give a very special family!
