To say this lovely lady is a princess would be an understatement.  Ms. Maisy is indeed the princess of her castle!!  Our sweet girl was turned in by her owners to a high kill shelter.  Thankfully the shelter is very rescue friendly and ATDR was called almost immediately.  Maisy was 23 pounds upon arrival and she is now down to 15 pounds!  She runs around like a spring chicken despite the fact that she is 7 years old!  Maisy does just great with other dogs and sleeps in the bed with 3 cats at night.  About the only thing that bothers Ms Maisy is being late for breakfast.  She has a healthy bark and lets you know when she needs something but the rest of the time she is as quiet as a church mouse.  She arrived light heartworm positive so she is in treatment right now but will be available for adoption mid April.  She loves her foster family and their castle but she will be glad to grace just the right home with her princess personality and deem their home  her forever castle!
