This sweet angel's name is HAZEL, her mother (Maia) is a wire haired dachshund.
Hazel was born August 12th under horrible circumstances. Maia was
homeless and had her babies under plywood at an abandoned house. Hazel and her
siblings were only a few hours old when they were rescued, they were very small and
in danger of dying. The babies had to be given puppy CPR to assist in their
breathing from the heat and were given sugar water for hydration. After weeks of
loving care they have flourished into wonderful, happy and healthy little babies.
Hazel is a little shy, calm, playful and very sweet. She has such a beautiful coat
and markings, she will be getting her babies shots very soon and in the next few
weeks will be ready for her forever home.

Sweet wire haired Mommy Maia and her four puppies were rescued on one of the hottest days on record!  The mom and pups are doing well now that they are in an ATDR foster home being cared for around the clock  Hazel is a beautiful girl with a lot of love to give!  Please consider filling out the application now for one of these precious kids!
