Louie is a mini red dapple boy who has so much love to give! He was found as a stray and brought to a kill shelter. ATDR rescued him and took care of all of his vetting. He is a passive boy who would be a good companion dog. He gets along with the dachshunds in his foster home, and loves to sleep in the big bed. He uses the doggie door for his potty needs, and comes when called. Louie is a snuggler and a lover! He loves to be close to his humans, being petted, belly rubs, talking, kissing, just everything!!!! He does bark when he needs to but overall is a quiet boy. Louie has a cute way of standing with one leg up when he wants a treat and squatting while he's waiting to be fed. Louie is currently being treated for heartworms, but he has no symptoms of heavy infestation. He is fostered in North Texas. Do you need more love in your life? Louie's your guy!!!!
