My Name is Cesar and I am a Dachshund that almost died several months ago.  I lived in a terrible neighborhood and one night the neighbor’s teenage son poured lighter fluid on me and set me on fire. 

This abuse case was handled by the Houston Police Department and I ended up at Westheimer Animal Clinic Bellaire for treatment of my extensive burn injuries.  After much intensive treatment they were able to save my eyes but I lost part of my left ear and ended up with a lot of scars around my face and on my body.  I also had to be treated for heartworms and hookworms.

But now I am back to a normal state of health.  I am so happy and love to play with toys and my tennis ball.  I have been told that I have way too much energy so I would like to be in a home where there is lots to do.  I would also like to watch Animal Planet on T-V since I’ve heard that it has exciting stuff. 

Please help this sweet and loving boy find the home that he deserves!
