Meet Miss Cherry Pie - a stunning red and white Piebald female. Cherry is sweet and very easy going. She loves everyone and it great with the other fosters in her home. Cherry is fun loving and enjoys being outdoors.
From her foster:
Cherry Pie, who we now fondly call Cherry Cheesecake. She is completely crate and house trained, about 2 years old and a very fun little girl. She is not a Velcro dog where she needs to be with you all the time; she has her independent side. She plays well with the other dogs here, interacting very nicely with everyone of every size. She loves to "help" me when I am working outside in the flower beds or garden - she tries to get the dirt arranged just to her liking!! She is quiet - not a nuisance barker at all. She does bark when playing sometimes but not that often. She is very gentle and loving. Loves to give kisses and get her belly rubs.
She would make a reat companion for someone - she loves her people! She can sleep in the bed under the covers or in her crate with plenty of blankets to roll up in - it does not really matter to her. She is very easy going - except when she sees a cat - then watch out! We have two cats in the house and they have learned to be very acrobatic of late! She is not much of a toy player. She does, however, play when she is on the bed and you run your hand back and forth under the covers in front of her. She likes that.
She is very comfortable eating in her crate as she likes to eat her meals slower than some of the other chow hounds.
