Update:  Kelly is the swan that sprang from the ugly duckling!  She is so beautiful now it is hard to believe she was so rough around the edges when she first came to us!  She is sweet and loves her people!  She is happiest when she is cuddled up beside her foster mom or when she is running around the yard sniffing and smelling all the new smells in the country!  Kelly is good with other dogs, large and small.  She is playful and loves to run around outside!  She is doing well with housetraining and lives in a condo but really wishes she had a yard.  She would enjoy the backyard or even a park if that could be arranged.  Kelly is a new girl that would love a great home for the holidays! 

Kelly was surrendered to a coastal kill shelter in very bad physical condition!  She has both kinds of mange and a secondary skin infection from scratching her coat!  Kelly is a sweet and gentle girl that just wants to feel better and find the right home!  She is loving and sweet and wants nothing more than to run around and play like everyone else!  She is active and happy inspite of her terrible condition!
