Because he was picked up as a stray, we don’t know much about his history. Soon after going to live with his foster mom it became obvious the he hadn’t had any obedience training, nor was he house trained. Mr. Quinn also showed many symptoms of having been hit and kicked. You do not want to leave this dog loose in the house when you are gone. The boy can JUMP! He can actually jump high enough to get up on a dining table! Also, he did NOT like having his feet handled. Since then, Quinn has been to Obedience Training with some good results. Although foster mom has been a little lax about making him toe the line, he does mind very well now. He is also 98% house trained. Haven’t been able to do much about him jumping up on tables. He never does it when anyone is home! He still doesn’t like having his feet handled. He’s better about it but it can be a bit of a wrestling match getting his claws trimmed. He IS crate trained and will willingly go into his crate when it is bedtime or time for mom to go to work.
