Description: Bethany is a tiny, sweet little girl who has had a rough start. Her owner was evidently immune to her charms. She took her to animal control before they were even open, and she just opened her door and let her jump out. Luckily a volunteer was waiting in the parking lot, so she scooped the dog up and made a call to rescue. When her foster mom saw Bethany's sweet little face peering up out of the back of a pickup, she said "You don't look like trash to me!" and then whisked her away to a better life.
Bethany is up to date on shots and she is heartworm negative. She will be spayed in a couple of weeks. In the meantime, she will be resting on a clean blankie and eating good wholesome food so she can get her health in tiptop shape. Then she will be ready to go to her new, forever home where she will never be tossed out again.
We will be learning more about her personality in the coming days. She has been through a lot of changes in a short while! But so far, we know she walks well on a leash. She is very affectionate and likes to be held. She is brand new to crate-training. Keep checking back for updates on this precious little soul.
Bethany, things are looking up for you starting today!
