Just look at that face! This is Chica! Although her foster Mom calls her Pippa, this sweet girl comes running to whomever is willing to give her some love. Pippa came from the Lufkin shelter and was rescued when her time was up. She is a long and lean standard girl who is very friendly and affectionate. Apparently she was well-cared-for by her previous owner because she appears to be healthy and has a very shiny coat. She plays well with other dogs and loves her toys. She has learned the doggie door, is working on her house manners and does well in her kennel at night. Pippa has lots of energy outside and loves to explore and is very agile. Inside she is a quite and calm girl who loves a warm lap and cuddle time with her foster mom. She is a little shy around men but warms up with time. Pippa is spayed, current on vaccinations, on heart worm preventative and is microchipped.
Chica is used to using a doggie door and must have a yard. She would be best in a home with at least one other dog for a buddy.
