2016 is the year of Magic Mike! As it goes with Mike’s namesake movies, so it goes with Mike’s rescue story. Both are destined to have happy endings. Mike came into rescue with a female companion. Both dogs were dumped together at a construction site. That girl was adopted. But Mike is still awaiting his forever home.
Mike is definitely somebody’s dream dog. Are you looking for a devoted companion who will never stray? Mike’s your man. Are you looking for a good listener? Mike’s your man. Do you like to cuddle? Mike’s your man. Do you enjoy long walks on the beach (or in your own neighborhood)? Mike’s your man. Do you have an excess of plush toys that need to be de-stuffed and strewn about your home? Mike’s your man. He is obsessed with plush toys. He likes to hoard all the plush toys into one crate and then crawl into the middle of them like E.T. (google that movie reference if you’re under 40).
Mike does best with at least one other well-adjusted dog in his home. He’s a people oriented dog but he takes energy cues from the other dog(s) in his home. They help him to feel more confident and less anxious. Mike is crate trained and house trained. Good traits to have in any companion.
Magic Mike just wants to love and be loved. Isn’t that the underlying theme of every good movie? Let’s give Mike the happily ever after that he deserves. The role is still open for Mike’s lifetime leading lady. Could you be the lucky lady to take your very own Magic Mike home with you?!...
