Freckles was recently surrender by his caregivers after struggling for many months to take care of a growing number of rescues.  To better help the individual dogs the family asked ATDR for help and in doing so 30+ dachshunds were filtered into other willing rescue groups all over the state.  Freckles stayed with us and we are happy to say is a sweet and well adjusted product of a well intentioned rescue effort gone wrong.
