Description:
Oscar is the most common name among male dachshunds!  Not much else to say except this boy doesn't fit the mold!!!  He is an above average boy in everyway!  He is smart, and quick and knows his way around the kitchen!  He can sniff out a treat better than any dog we've ever seen!  Oscar is a manipulator of the worst order - he can worm his way into your heart as quickly as he can find your lap!  No lap is safe!  Oscar is a great guy with a huge love for people - he only wants to please!!! 
Oscar had surgery on his back leg several years ago, but never really used it much afterwards.  
He walks and even runs like the wind but doesn't put it down when he does.  Instead of using it he lifts it up and only puts it down to balance.  It doesn't slow him down a bit!
