Whitney is a petite red girl who loves to play and be near you.  She likes giving kisses and sometimes can catch you off guard and is spunky and very active.  Whitney is house trained but needs to know when she goes to a new place that there is a routine.  She doesn't verbally tell you she has to go but will go stand at the door when she wants out.  Whitney is a people dog, although she does get along fine with the other dogs in her foster home she is a bit of a dominant.  She likes spending some time outside chasing squirrels and birds but is happiest right by your side.  Whitney lives with cats in her home but would love to chase them if only she could convince them to run.  She would be O.K. with a confident cat who lets her know who is boss but would not do well with kittens.  Whitney spends her days at her foster mom's dog spa meeting new people and new dogs.  She doesn't particularly like big dogs when she first meets them but will adjust after a while.
 
She has just finished heartworm treatment and is ready to go so if you are looking for an spunky, funny, kiss-y girl then Whitney is the girl for you!
