Meet Chief, a handsome red tweenie male!!e plays hard with all of the fosters in his foster home and loves everyone!    In fact, his foster has to hide any large balls because he pushes the ball around the yard so fast, it’s hard to catch him.    He likes to play with small balls, toys and other dogs.  He does marvelously with children and other dogs, very laid back.  His coat is so soft luxurious, it’s like red velvet.   He has a darling loving personality that is very even tempered and relaxed.    He is crate trained and house trained providing it’s not raining outside.   He hates to go outside in the rain and may have accidents because he doesn’t want to go out in the rain.  Pretty typical of any dachshund!  He is paper trained for rainy days, but  can not guarantee accidents on rainy days.   Chief burrows under the covers,  and is excellent when letting you trim his nails.

   He goes right into his crate for a treat, but need to keep blankets out of his crate as he will shred them.  Has never torn up or destroyed anything while outside the crate.   Suggest he be crated especially on rainy days.  He sounds pretty perfect doesn't he?
