Description: Hi, everyone. My name is Olive, but my foster parents call me Teenie Weenie because I am very small, only nine pounds. And I am very cute and sweet.
I was found walking around all alone and taken to an animal shelter and a nice rescue lady took me home. I was spayed, given all my shots and we thought that I was good as new and ready for adoption. But then my foster mom noticed that things didn't seem right when I tried to tinkle so she took me to the doctor and they took tests and gave me ex-rays and found that I had two stones inside my bladder that were as big as grapes. They took them right out the very next day. Whew...what a relief!! I feel so much better now and I have no trouble tinkling and I have no more accidents. I am just a perfectly house trained girl who uses the doggie door just like I should.
Because of the kind of stones I had, I am on a special vegetarian diet. I am not allowed to eat any protein at all. So foster mom buys me Dick Van Patten's (he's a famous actor, you know) Natural Balance Vegetarian Blend at the Pet store. She also mixes in some green beans, which I really, really like. Foster mom says it's no more expensive than buying good quality dog food and I'm little, so I don't eat that much. I also have a box of tasty treats that are all vegetable. And sometimes I get a little carrot as a treat. That makes the other dogs jealous.
I would like an older person who has lots of time to sit with me. That is all I like to do. I don't care about toys or other dogs. I just like to sit with my human and be really close. I don't like being alone at all.
Please fill out an application and put my name on it. You will be very happy you did when I come live with you. I am a sweet, sweet girl who wants nothing more in life than to give love and get it in return.
