Description:
Chaz was sprung from the Harris County shelter where he had been picked up as a stray. He had sarcoptic mange, was low positive for heartworms, and was very underweight. After much TLC from the wonderful ATDR vets, and from his foster mom, he is doing great! He is at a healthy weight, sailed through his heartworm treatment with no problem, and his mange is gone. His coat is starting to grow back and he's becoming quite the handsome little man! He has been neutered and is up to date on all his shots.

Good with Children 11+ years old

Chaz is always happy, bouncy, kissy, and playful. He's in high gear until its time to go to sleep. He has stayed in a crate while his foster mom is at work, but he has also been loose in the house, and does not get into any trouble. He does not like to be completely alone though, so he will need to be in a home with at least one other dog to play with and keep him company. Chaz has mastered the doggie door, and his foster mom is working on getting him house trained. He gets along well with all of his foster brothers and sisters, including a Doberman!. Any dog is a friend, big or small! When its time for bed, Chaz likes to cuddle in the big bed with his foster mom, or sleep on her chest while she's watching TV. If you are looking for a playful little snugglebug, Chaz is the man for you!
