Description: Harrison's story is a sad one, he lived outdoors since he was a tiny pup. Harrison went down in his back while his owner was hospitalized and he was paralyzed. When his elderly owner returned home, she started asking about trading him in for a poodle. A neighbor talked the elderly owner into giving Harrison to rescue.
Harrison has undergone back surgery and rehab and is now doing great! Harrison has a unique walk and never drags himself anymore. His bowel/bladder control has returned and he loves to sleep in bed with his foster mom. Harrison LOVES blankies. He takes them and tosses them in the air to cover himself up when it is bed time. Harrison also loves to sleep next to his hooman, in her arms. Harrison is nothing but a bundle of love!!!! He wants nothing more than to be a loyal member of your family. Harrison deserves to have a loving companion that will overlook his slight limp and love him regardless. In our eyes Harrison has no disability. If you are interested in one of the most loving doxies there is......then Harrison is the man for you!
