Description:
Sadie is a red dapple and was rescued from a puppy mill. She is approximately seven years old. She has had a tough life, but in spite of it all is a very sweet soul!

Sadie has had numerous litters of puppies and at some point in her life has been burned and has permanent scaring (the scaring starts with a large spot on her back and continues down her one side) - she will never grow back her missing hair on her back and side. But she is so sweet and kind. Her foster mom affectionately calls her mama - she came without any puppies, but that doesn't matter to her she still takes care of the other puppies and watches over the younger dogs that came with her from the mill to her foster home.

She is content to just lie on a blanket on the couch or bed all day sleeping and surveying the other activities. And most certainly welcomes you to sit or lay with her and love on her and hold her. She welcomes your kisses but is not a kisser herself. She does well with all people although she is still shy. She does get nervous if there is a bunch of loud commotion or young children playing near her - her answer to this is to run and hide - she has never shown any aggression. She also came with an ulcerated tongue, but that is healing.
