Louie was rescued from a suburban shelter when he was picked up by Animal Control after being dumped out of a car on a busy highway.  Clearly someone didn't want him anymore and Louie was brought to the shelter, alone and afraid.  The shelter folks were quick to phone ATDR and without hestitation was scooped up the next day and the search for a proper foster was put into action!  Several people thought Louie might be a good fit - and others realizing the need for foster home agreed to take another deserving dog!  Louie is very laid back and has one speed and that's slow. If you are looking for a low key guy well Louie is your man. He is on heart medications but otherwise he's healthy. He's house trained, gets along great with all the dogs in his foster home big and small. He absolutely adores kids and cats don't seem to bother him. I promise you if you adopt him you won't be sorry!

Louie is on 3 heart medications that cost about $120 every 6 weeks? He has a grade 4 heart murmur.
