Description:
Sweet little Aunt Bea was found as a stray and ended up in a North Texas Shelter.  When ATDR came to the rescue, she was in such a sad state. She had to have been someone’s pet but must have been just ignored for years. Her poor little mouth was full of broken teeth with exposed roots and all kinds of infections. Her ears were caked full of gunk and her nails had not been trimmed in years. Her back end and her tail were chewed raw from flea allergies too.  But after lots of VIP treatments and a lot of TLC, she is completely healed and so happy and so grateful to be in a warm, loving home with cozy places to sleep, a safe yard to run and play in and lots of foster brothers and sisters to snuggle up to. Her raw skin is all healed from her flea allergies and all her little fur has grown back in on her back and her tail. The poor little girl was skin and bones when we rescued her but after her dental surgery, she’s like a new puppy and she can’t wait for dinner time now. She is even starting to gain weight and build up some muscle mass too! She’s still just a tiny girl – less than 10 pounds and as best we can tell, is mostly deaf but she doesn’t startle at all and hasn’t barked once since we’ve had her. She sees just fine and always knows right where you are and just wants to be close to you. She is smart as a whip – she learned the doggie door almost immediately and is completely housebroken. She would love nothing more than to have someone to love and a home to call her own!! She still has years of love and tons of gentle puppy kisses to give!!
