Description:
Oscar is a handsome and very loving mini red male dachshund about 10lbs.  He is a young adult that has had a few hard years but has taken his knocks and continued to stay positive.  He is easy going, loves life, great with other dogs, and loves his humans.  Oscar is a world class snuggler and would make anyone the perfect companion!  Oscar is in great health, neutered, fully vaccinated and ready for his forever home!  Hope he doesn't have to wait too long!


Origin: 
Sweet Oscar was pulled from a local shelter and spent a couple weeks in a temporary foster home!  He wasn't feeling great but loved everyone and made the best of whatever life threw his way!  His foster mom got worried and took him to the local vet who said he needed and ultrasound.  Off we went to our friends at VCA Tanglewood where he was diagnosed with an enlarged spleen and a possible tumor or cyst.  Surgery revealed a giant hematoma attached to his spleen.  Both mass and spleen were removed and Oscar is recovering nicely!  Everyone at Tanglewood fell in love with Oscar and he seems to have developed quite a fan club!  Apparently Oscar is a chick magnet!
