Sara was recently surrendered to rescue when her owners moved and could not take her with them. Sara is a young red piebald female who's owner was headed off to the military.  They called her "country dog" which unfortunately also means she was mostly outside, without heartworm prevention and is heartworm positive.  Sara will begin treatment right away - so stay tuned as we learn more about this precious girl.
